Fall Beauty Basket

As you all I know, I recently tried my first ever Mac lipstick, if you haven’t read the post you can find it here. Well, that wasn’t just my first lipstick from Mac it was my first ever product from there! Since trying their lipstick it has given me the confidence to try more! Not just Mac products but others companies/products that fellow bloggers are raving about.
Whilst filling up my baskets on several different cosmetic sites I thought why not let you little beauty-lovers have a sneak peek at what’s actually in my baskets before I even purchase them?

At the moment my Mac basket is around the 3 digit zone. Yeah there’s quite a few products in there! I won’t bore you with them all, but I will show you my favourites of the lot.

My favourite lipsticks out of the bunch are Instigator (£15) which is a beautiful deep Purple with a Matte finish. I’ve heard a lot about Mac’s matte finish and how they seem to have a longer last than satin. But one thing with matte lipsticks is they stick to dry skin leaving your lips looking blotchy; so always use a lip scrub before hand! My favourite lip scrub at the moment is Lush’s Santa’s lip scrub (£5.50), you can’t say no to festivity at the moment can you? Especially when it tastes of cola! mmmm.
Second on my list of Mac lippy’s is obviously Velvet Teddy (£15), we’ve all heard of it through the fame of Kylie Jenners lips. Well, I’ve been recommended it by two of my closest blogger friends hyping it up, Soph and Kate. So I obviously have to try it out.

I also really want to try gel liner, Fluidline liner (£16) in blacktrack. I’ve seen a few people mention its staying power which is what I’m need of.

Another thing in my basket right now is the Kat Von D eyeshadow palette in Monarch ($46). I came across this whilst nosing through the Sephora site. I passed up the Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette because I fancy trying something different and I already have the Naked palettes 2 & 3. So when this popped up I fell in love with the colours. It’s filled with warm tones which I think are perfect for the cooler months.

I think the nail varnish that is STILL my favourite for Autumn is Rain Rain Go Away (£2.98) from Rimmels collection with Rita Ora. I’m still in love, I previously wrote a post on it here.
So that’s it, my fall beauty favourites from my baskets. Do you have any beauty favourites for fall? Let me know with a comment or a tweet @horrorgrrrrl
